# Pricing

Usage is measured in workspace minutes: one minute for each minute a workspace is awake. Every paid plan includes unlimited manual workspace minutes (Dashboard, Slack, Linear, GitHub, GitLab, CLI). Automated workspace minutes, from the API and automations, run against a monthly included allowance, and any overage is billed at period end.

A manual workspace is one you start yourself; an automated workspace is one started by the API or an automation. Workspaces auto-sleep after 1 hour of inactivity and accrue no minutes while asleep or archived; larger workspaces count at a higher rate. Full details: https://docs.tryreplicas.com/admin/billing

## Free Trial

Every new organization starts on a 14-day free trial with the full Team feature set. No credit card required. Manual workspace minutes are unlimited; automated (API and automation) minutes are capped at 15,000 for the trial and blocked at the cap. When the trial ends, workspaces are suspended (never deleted) until you subscribe to Developer or Team.
